Tim Sutton is a Brooklyn-based director whose major works are PAVILION, MEMPHIS, and DARK NIGHT. With a steady body of work evoking both the raw and the poetic, Tim is renown for bringing dark and complex survival stories to the big screen. His award-winning films are recognized for tight, authentic scripts and amazing visual storytelling.

A former Art Director at Getty Images, Tim holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin. At home in New York, the filmmaker still resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two young sons, where he is also an educator and founding director of Video Kid Brooklyn – a film school for NYC youth.
