Andrea Nix Fine and Sean Fine are Oscar®, Emmy® and Peabody® award-winning filmmakers whose raw, intimate storytelling style has been hailed by critics as “visually ravishing” and “enormously spirit-raising.” In 2021, the Fines transformed their production company Fine Films into the impact studio, Change Content, to scale the production of unforgettable true stories that upend the way viewers think and feel about critical issues.
Their most recent film, LFG, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and is currently streaming on HBO Max, and was instrumental in the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team achieving equal pay. The Fines’ previous films include: their Academy Award-winning short documentary, Inocente, a coming-of-age story about a 15-year-old Latina artist experiencing homelessness; Life According to Sam, their HBO documentary feature which was shortlisted for the Academy Awards for Best Documentary and was also honored with a Peabody and Emmy Award that same year; and their Academy Award nominated doc War/Dance, about three children living in Northern Uganda’s war zone competing in their country’s national music and dance festival.
They are currently in production on a limited doc series for HBO.
