Imraan Ismail is an award-winning Writer, Director, and Visual Artist whose emotionally-charged, visually compelling work is a celebration of a shared humanity. His films have premiered all over the world, including at Sundance, Tribeca, and Cannes with recent awards granted to the National Geographic documentary short, THE PROTECTORS, co-created with Oscar-winning Director Kathryn Bigelow.

Getting his start in advertising with Saatchi & Saatchi, Imraan then journeyed into film, visual effects and editorial for Disney, Digital Domain, and MPC. With these studios he worked on a distinguished list of Hollywood franchises and blockbusters under Directors Michael Mann, Steven Soderbergh and Gary Ross. Recently, he has become a pioneer and innovator in XR and immersive/spatial storytelling.
